Time and time again I find myself answering questions (especially on Yahoo Answers) in regards to issues that are relatively simple to find the answers to in Windows Help and Support Files.
Help and Support files are easily accessible on any windows-based OS (operating system) and contain information on almost any issue relating to your computer's functions, hardware, software, system maintenance, performance, etc.
Using the files is easy. To access them:
> Click Start, Help and Support
> Type in keyword(s)about your issue in the Search help bar
> Click search (the blue magnifying glass icon)
A list of possible solutions are generated relating to your keyword entry and are displayed by clicking the links listed. You can change your keyword(s)or search parameters at any time. Help and Support offers a wealth of information and "how-to" instructions.
It amazes me that so few people use these Help and Support files. I would be totally lost without them! But, at least I've done my part in reassuring people the files are right at their fingertips, in addition to how easy it is access and use them.
